We found this place through Google reviews and are glad we decided to try it. All the food we ordered was yummy and tasty. The flavors were well balanced, and everything we tried was enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’re happy we gave this place a chance.

My family and I have always loved Indian food but nowhere compares to the incredibly flavoursome food from Royal Indian Cuisine - Albany! Diwan, the chef and owner, is so kind and talented. We recommend his food to all of our friends and family. Highly recommend!!!

Really good food with some flavors that are on point. The owner is a great guy who likes a good laugh and connect with his customers. I did order Indian hot and after finishing the meal, he asked me what I thought. When I told him that I think it could have been spicier, he told me that he gave me kiwi hot. We laughed back and forth and made a whole joke of it. This food is great and the owner rocks. Give it a try!

While visiting Albany my wife and I had a craving for Indian food. This place did not disappoint - fresh food, great flavors, and attentive staff. The Chicken 65 appetizer was our favorite. Will visit again on the next trip here.

I've been going to the Albany library frequently and never thought to try Royal Indian Cuisine - and today I finally tried it out with my kids and I've been missing out! The food was great, outdoor sitting is casual but comfortable, and the owner was so kind. This will be our new go to Indian place :)

Every single time I get food from here, it’s honestly brilliant. Today I ordered the chicken noodles and it was outstanding, beautifully seasoned, packed with fresh vegetables, and topped with a generous amount of egg. The portion size for $18 was more than fair. This is my absolute go-to spot for Indian food. If you’re in Albany or living out in Dairy Flat, this place is a must-try. I genuinely wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. It’s more of a takeaway spot than a dine-in restaurant, but don’t let that fool you, the standard of food is consistently very high. The owner is also incredibly friendly and personable, which makes the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely keep coming back. My whole family enjoyed it.

Update - I believe this is the best Indian food I have had after a second order from them. We did specify garlic and more garlic on the naans and the mains were delicious. Got to be my favourite eatout at the moment. Delicious mains but unfortunately ordered 2 garlic naans and only got one that may or may not have had garlic and the other no garlic. They were completely different. Very generous size though. The other Indian restaurant close by knows how to do garlic naan! All in all a good experience and food tasty. Rice came with the curries, but couldn't find that on menu. Would have given 5 stars if naan was garlicky.
